The Raphael Sanzio award is a high distinction conferred annually to personalities in the worlds of Art, Science and Culture in recognition of contributions made in their corresponding fields. This year the coveted statuette was presented during a Grand Gala held at the Paisiello Theatre, Lecce in the presence of Italian civil, religious and military authorities.
